The cost of neglect

Is your website quietly becoming a liability?

Most website problems are preventable. If any of these are true of your site right now, the risk is higher than you think.

Plugins and software dangerously out of date

Outdated WordPress plugins, PHP versions and npm packages are the primary vector for website compromises. Most hacked sites were running software with known, patched vulnerabilities.

No backup strategy that has been tested

Untested backups are not backups. If your hosting provider is your only copy and something goes wrong, recovery can take days. A proper backup strategy means multiple copies, off-site storage and regular restore tests.

Nobody is watching uptime or errors

If your site goes down at 2am and a customer notices before you do, you have lost both the customer and the confidence. Proactive monitoring catches outages in minutes, not hours.

Performance is degrading and nobody notices

Website speed degrades over time as content, plugins and traffic grow. Without ongoing optimization, Core Web Vitals drift and you lose rankings and conversions gradually rather than all at once.

Small changes take days or weeks to get done

When a typo on the homepage sits for two weeks because development is backlogged, your site is working against you. A maintenance plan gives you a bucket of hours for small changes with a fast turnaround.

One bad update breaks everything

Updating a plugin or CMS version without testing first can break layouts, break checkout or take the whole site down. Proper maintenance includes staging environment testing before any change goes live.

What we do

Our website maintenance services

Every maintenance plan is built around the specific needs of your site. Here is what you can expect us to cover.

Why choose us

Maintenance that works while you sleep

Most of our maintenance work happens before you start your day. We monitor, update and secure your site continuously, then report back so you always know its health without having to ask.

Get a free site audit
  • Proactive, not reactive

We find and fix problems before they affect your visitors. Monitoring, scheduled updates and regular audits mean most issues never become incidents.

  • Overnight resolution your time

Our working day starts as yours ends. Most support tickets raised in the evening are resolved by the time you start work the next morning.

  • Transparent monthly reports

You get a plain-language report every month showing exactly what was done, what was found and what the site's health looks like.

  • Backups before every change

We back up before every update. If something breaks, we restore immediately instead of spending hours debugging a broken state.

  • Security-first mindset

Security updates are never skipped. We treat every vulnerability notification as urgent and patch within 24 to 48 hours depending on severity.

  • Performance kept fast over time

We track Core Web Vitals monthly and intervene when scores start to slip, before they affect your search rankings.

  • One team that knows your site

We read the existing setup before touching anything. You are not explaining your site to a new person every time you raise a ticket.

  • No task too small

Text changes, image swaps, plugin questions and form updates are all handled from your monthly hours bucket without a separate quote for each one.

Client words

Trusted by businesses that cannot afford downtime

Two years and they have never missed a renewal or let a plugin go dangerously out of date. Our site has had zero security incidents. I genuinely do not think about the website anymore, which is exactly what I wanted.

Practice Manager Healthcare clinic, United Kingdom

We had a plugin conflict that took our checkout down on a Saturday afternoon. They had it fixed within two hours, including a post-mortem report on Monday. That response is why we renewed for a third year.

Marketing Director E-commerce brand, United States

The monthly reports are the most useful part. I can see uptime, speed scores and what was updated, all in plain language. It takes five minutes to read and I know everything I need to know about our website.

Questions, answered

Website maintenance FAQs

How much does a website maintenance plan cost?

Plans typically run from $150 to $800 per month depending on the platform, complexity and hours included. We offer a free audit of your current site to recommend the right plan before you commit to anything.

What is included in a maintenance plan?

Core and plugin updates, security scanning, automated backups, uptime monitoring, performance checks, a monthly report and a bucket of content-update hours. Exact inclusions vary by plan.

How quickly do you respond to problems?

Critical issues (site down, security incident) are addressed within 2 to 4 hours, day or night. Standard issues are resolved within one business day. Our working hours overlap with US, UK and Canada time zones.

Do you maintain websites you did not build?

Yes. We start with a paid audit to document the current state of the site, identify any existing security issues and establish a baseline. Most new maintenance clients are on sites we did not build.

What platforms do you maintain?

WordPress and WooCommerce are our primary platforms. We also maintain sites built on PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Webflow and static site frameworks. Contact us if you have a different platform.

How often do you update plugins and core software?

Security updates are applied within 24 to 48 hours of release. Regular plugin and core updates are applied monthly after staging testing. We never update production without testing first.

What happens if my site goes down?

Our monitoring alerts us immediately. We diagnose, communicate the issue to you and begin recovery. Most outages are resolved within two to four hours. You receive a post-incident report explaining the cause and the fix.

How do you handle backups?

Automated daily backups are stored off-site. We test restores monthly to confirm they actually work. Before any significant update, we take a manual backup so rollback is instant if something breaks.

What does the monthly report include?

Uptime percentage, response time trends, updates applied, security scan results, Core Web Vitals scores, any incidents and what was done. Written in plain language, not technical jargon.

Can I request content changes under the plan?

Yes. Every plan includes a monthly bucket of content-update hours for text changes, image swaps, new pages and minor layout edits. Larger changes are quoted separately at an agreed rate.

Can I cancel the maintenance plan?

Plans are monthly rolling with 30 days notice. We do not lock you into long contracts. If you decide to manage maintenance yourself, we provide a handover document covering everything we have set up.

Do I still own my website?

Yes. You own your website, your domain, your hosting account and all your content. We access your site to maintain it, not to control it. You can move to another provider at any time.

Ready to stop worrying about your website?

Start with a free audit. We document the current state of your site, flag the risks and recommend the right plan, with no obligation to continue.
